Elizabeth Vargas To Host New Nationally Syndicated True Crime Show

By Mark Mwachiro

Former ABC News anchor Elizabeth Vargas will host a new nationally syndicated true crime show premiering this fall. iCrime with Elizabeth Vargas is a 30-minute reality series that takes a modern look at crime from the vantage point of smartphone cameras.

Vargas’ new show will feature clips of the actual crimes captured by smartphone cameras. She will get to interview the victims, bystanders, law enforcement and the people who captured the video. There will also be a panel of crime experts weighing in on what happened during that particular crime.

The show will debut on Monday, September 12—and has been cleared to air in over 95% of the country. Vargas will also be the executive producer of the series, alongside Scott Sternberg and Hank Cohen.
