Ed Henry Returns to Fox News

After nearly 4 months off the air, Fox News correspondent Ed Henry will return to the network on Monday, The Hill reports.

Henry, who had been the primary reporter covering Hillary Clinton‘s campaign, was taken off the air following reports of an extra-marital affair. He will return as Chief National Correspondent in the D.C. bureau.

In May, then-Fox News CEO Roger Ailes said the tabloid stories raised “serious questions about Ed’s lack of judgement, especially given his position as a journalist.” At the time, it was thought Henry would be dismissed. But less than two months later, it would be Ailes under the microscope as Gretchen Carlson filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against him. Ailes resigned from Fox in late July.

Henry has been with Fox News since 2011. Before that, he spent 7 years at CNN.
