Tuesday’s World News featured a report from Betsy Stark about Kiva.org, a website that allows people to make direct loans to entrepreneurs in poor countries.
Since the piece aired, Kiva says it has raised $110,000 from 1,170 users, more than two times the site’s daily average. According to ABC, the organization says the majority of those lending are World News viewers…
