Donald Trump has blasted a report by CNN’s Jim Sciutto as “a made up story by ‘low ratings’ CNN,” in a message posted to his Twitter account.
Sciutto, citing a source, says the U.S. Secret Service has “spoken to the Trump campaign” about his comments Tuesday regarding Hillary Clinton and the Second Amendment. “There has been more than one conversation” on the topic, the official told CNN, noting that the campaign told the Secret Service that Trump “did not intend to incite violence, according to the official.”

Trump dismissed the report, saying “no such meeting or conversation ever happened.”
Sciutto, who reported that “several conversations” have happened, later told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer “I’m confident in my source, and I’m confident in the story.”
