Lou Dobbs appeared with Wolf Blitzer during a cross-talk promoting Dobbs’ return to the CNN airwaves. It’s the first time in more than three weeks Dobbs has been seen live on CNN. He had tonsillectomy surgery last month. The two joked about Dobbs being parodied on SNL this weekend; debating whether Darrell Hammond does a better Lou Dobbs or a better Wolf Blitzer impression.
And while he may have lost his tonsils, it doesn’t appear Dobbs has lost his TV touch: “Another example of foreign interests buying some of our most important assets…charges that New York’s Governor Elliot Spitzer is breaking our laws offering drivers’ licenses to illegal aliens…Katie Couric over at CBS, Bill Moyers at PBS and all of their nonsense about wearing an American flag pin on their lapels.”
“It’s time to get straight and serious about serious issues,” Dobbs said.
