Dick Cheney Adds Cable News, CBS and ‘The View’ to His Book Tour Schedule

By Alex Weprin

Former Vice President Dick Cheney is preparing to embark on a major book tour media blitz (our sister blog GalleyCat has much more on Cheney’s memoir). As we noted earlier this month, Cheney will give his first few interviews to NBC News as part of a primetime special and a “Today” appearance.

Now, other outlets that will be interviewing the VP have emerged. On the broadcast networks, Cheney will appear on CBS’ “Face the Nation” and ABC’s “The View,” according to the New York Times.

The Times also adds that Cheney will appear on a slew of cable news shows, including “Hannity” and “On the Record” on Fox News, CNN’s “John King USA,” CNBC’s “Kudlow Report” and C-SPAN’s “After Words.” Cheney will also appear live in-studio on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” September 1.
