This morning on Squawk Box, CNBC aired an interview by Maria Bartiromo with Bono, Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates and Dell, Inc. CEO Michael Dell. The power trio joined Bartiromo from the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

During the lengthy interview, the trio announced their partnership with the Red campaign. Dell and Gates described how the Red campaign would be integrated in their products, as well as the contributions that will be made for buying the products. Bono announced that 58 million has already been raised.

The U2 rocker also talked about a variety of other issues, including how the presidential candidates have taken to the campaign. “Going into the presidential election, every single candidate has had to wear one of these white bands and say, ‘Wow, they’re asking us to think about what’s outside of America and the way the world sees America,'” he said. “People know the power in their pocket by the choices they make, they can make you or break you.”
