The spotlight is on California today as Democratic and Republican voters from America’s most populous state are voting on who they want to represent their party in the 2016 presidential election. ABC World News Tonight anchor David Muir will interview Hillary Clinton, and NBC Nightly News’s Lester Holt chats with Bernie Sanders.
Muir’s interview with Clinton, who many media outlets have declared the party’s presumptive nominee, will air tomorrow across ABC News platforms, including Good Morning America, World News Tonight and Nightline.
Holt’s interview with Sanders will air on tonight’s edition of NBC Nightly News at 6:30 p.m. Holt will anchor the broadcast live from Los Angeles.
Muir’s interview with Clinton will be the first since September 2015, when she first apologized for using a private email server. Holt most recently interviewed Sanders in January 2016 ahead of the Iowa caucuses.
