Before Charlie Sheen, there was David Hasselhoff.

And in true “Hoff” fashion, the former Baywatch star will be profiled in the next edition of the original series Celebrity Tennis on the Tennis Channel this Sunday at 7 p.m. ET.

Celebrity Tennis features former tennis professional and actor Vince Van Patten as he takes viewers inside the life of a different celebrity who has a burning passion for tennis.

Previous celebrities to appear on Celebrity Tennis include Dr. Phil McGraw, Christie Brinkley, Gus Hanson and Brandy.

If Hasselhoff was ever named commissioner of tennis for a day, the actor would pattern the events after the World Wrestling Federation by making the games shorter and allowing the fans in the stands to be more vocal.

Can someone start an equivalent show for baseball and book Sheen?

Winning.
