A two-hour Friday night Dateline saw its highest A18-49 rating (2.6 rating/8 share) in more than a year (Feb. 23, 2007). And with 8.6 million watching, it was the highest Total Viewer draw since September 28, 2007. The show won its time period in Total Viewers and the A25-54 demo.
Friday’s show featured Keith Morrison‘s interview of Elizabeth Shoaf, the high-school girl who was held hostage for 10 days in an underground bunker and managed her own rescue. The two-hour report also includes an interview with her captor, Vinson Filyaw, and footage of their courtroom confrontation.
