Dan Rather‘s wife, Jean, “tried to watch” the CBS farewell to her husband on Friday night, “but she couldn’t find it on TV.”
That’s one of the tidbits in Rebecca Dana‘s Observer sit-down with the former CBS anchor.
“Life is good,” Rather says. “I run across a lot of people who say, ‘Well, how’s your re—tirement?’ I try gently to explain to them that I retired from CBS News, but I’m working full time.”
