‘I Went to the New York Times to Find Out Why Those TV A**holes Wouldn’t Cover It’

The Daily Show’s Samantha Bee went searching for answers last week into why no one covered a shady but perfectly legal deal brokered by private equity firm Blackstone.

“How much coverage has this incredibly egregious behavior gotten on the 24 hour news networks?” Jon Stewart asked Bee. “Zero. Bupkis. “Really? 600 television channels three 24-hour news networks…”

“And nothing.” Not the New York Times, not BuzzFeed, but almost Pat Kiernan.
