I am pleased to announce that Chris Cuomo has been named news anchor of GMA beginning Tuesday, September 5. In his new role, Chris will be handling the newscasts, as well as contributing feature and enterprise stories for the program, especially in the areas of law and justice and investigations. He will continue to serve as co-anchor of Primetime. Chris has proven himself a versatile journalist who can handle everything from breaking news to features. Just last week he distinguished himself and the entire division with his reporting on the Ramsey case. Please join me in congratulating Chris on his new assignment.
