Cue Charlie!: ‘CTM’ Director Randi Lennon Chats on Facebook

You may be familiar with her voice, even if you don’t know who she is.

For some time now, “CBS This Morning” director Randi Lennon‘s voice is heard going into and coming out of commercial breaks.

The calls to “Cue Charlie!,” “Cue Gayle” or “Cue Norah” have earned Lennon a following. So today she answered questions via Facebook.

During the one-hour chat, Lennon taught fans about some industry terms, discussed where she learned how to direct TV news and even answered a question from co-host Gayle King.

Lennon also revealed that she arrives to work at 4am, promised that Charlie Rose is “cooler in person” and defended the show’s constant reminders to turn on the DVR. This behind-the-scenes video reveals more about the voice of “Cue Charlie!”
