Cramer: Why I Said What I Said

By Alissa Krinsky

On TheStreet.com today, Jim Cramer comments on the passionate plea he made Friday on CNBC to Federal Reserve Chair Ben Bernanke. The Mad Money host had scolded Bernanke for not cutting interest rates to help the markets – “He has no idea how bad it is out there… he has no idea! None!!”

Cramer explains that since he feels so strongly about cutting rates, he expressed his feelings because “I want my conscience clean… You’re supposed to be cool and calm (when you talk on TV), but I kinda wanted to look at the world and say, ‘I spoke up’… I’m done speaking up… I’ve done what I had to do.”
