Add Saturday Early Show anchor Russ Mitchell to the list of CBSers who support Katie Couric‘s possible move to CBS News.
“The folks in charge now are very aggressive,” Mitchell tells the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. “I don’t blame them for going after Katie one bit. She’s a big star and a very talented journalist — and a nice person as well.”
