“Any news about Katie Couric since yesterday?,” TVNewser joked to NBC News president Steve Capus in an interview Wednesday.
Capus paused, then said she had a great broadcast that morning.
“The parlor games are fun to write about and speculate about, and right now everyone’s looking for something fun to play with, but it’s all speculation,” he said.
