Update: 2pm: As noted on TVNewser, Couric anchored the State of the Union from DC last month (as did Williams and Gibson); she was the only network anchor to cover Bush’s Iraq speech from DC; and she was the only network anchor on the scene of the last major weather story — the devastating tornadoes in central Florida…
