CNN and CBS won’t comment about Anderson Cooper‘s deal with 60 Minutes because Les Moonves “wants to make the announcement himself May 17 in New York at CBS’s ‘up-front’ presentation of its fall schedule to advertisers,” sources tell Gail Shister.
“The paperwork isn’t finalized yet, but network sources say Cooper will put together five to 10 pieces a year for the venerable newsmagazine. He’ll start shooting this summer for broadcast in the fall – 60 Minutes’ 39th season.” The segments will air on 360, possibly the next day…
