FNC’s Rick Leventhal was the first journalist to report from inside an Osprey helicopter while reporting from Iraq this week. The controversial Osprey project (24 years and $22 billion) participated in its first combat mission from the al Asada Airbase. Leventhal said the Osprey was “by far the coolest and most controversial” aircraft he’s flown in while covering the war.
