‘The O’Reilly Factor’ Using Platform to Promote FNC Talent in New Segment

By Brian Flood

“The O’Reilly Factor” is the No. 1 show on the Fox News Channel and the top-rated show in cable news. Therefore, it’s obviously not a bad idea for Bill O’Reilly to use his platform to promote other FNC talent.

O’Reilly’s new segment called, “Did You Know That?” profiles FNC folks who have interesting backgrounds. Lea Gabrielle was a guest last night, telling her story which is fairly remarkable.

Even Fox Business personalities are getting some love from O’Reilly, as Cheryl Casone discussed going from flight attendant to economics reporter/anchor.

Earlier this week, Alan Colmes and Brian Kilmeade joined the “Factor” to discuss their stand-up comedy roots.

The debut of the segment featured FBN’s Melissa Francis, who was brought on to share her story. The childhood actor turned TV newser used to star in “Little House on the Prairie.”

TVNewser hears that “The O’Reilly Factor” is happy with the strong ratings it has received for the “Did You Know That?” segments, so it’s possible other personalities will be profiled in the near future. Tell us what you think in the comment section below.
