CNN/U.S. To Begin Simulcasting CNNI’s “Your World Today” At Noon, Replacing Wolf

CNN/U.S. will simulcast CNN International’s Your World Today from noon to 1 p.m. (ET) each weekday, beginning Monday, June 6, the network announced today. The broadcast will replace News From CNN, which was anchored by Wolf Blitzer.

“The simulcast demonstrates the depth and reach of the entire CNN News Group and not just one domestic network,” Jon Klein said. “We cover international news better than anyone. Why not give our U.S. viewers a real opportunity to see the type of stories they cannot see anywhere else?”

Your World Today, anchored by Jim Clancy and Zain Verjee in Atlanta, is broadcast globally. The show “offers a daily, in-depth look at current world affairs through the eyes of the day’s top newsmakers and political analysts,” CNN says.
