CNN’s April Debates Become June Debates

CNN has been promoting its April presidential debates for months. But they’re being pushed back:

“CNN, Hearst Argyle’s WMUR-TV and the New Hampshire Union Leader have moved their back-to-back Republican and Democratic debates from the first week of April to the first week of June,” the network announced tonight. “The change was made to accommodate candidates’ schedules and offer the public the best possible debates.”

“Some top candidates were staying away from the April debates,” the AP reports. A source tells TVNewser that Rudy Giuliani, John McCain, and Mitt Romney all backed out of the April debate, likely explaining the move to June…
