It was a significant night for Hillary Clinton. The former First Lady, U.S. Senator and Secretary of State clinched the Democratic Party nomination last night with primary wins in multiple states, including California.

As for where TV viewers tuned in: CNN was No. 1 in the key A25-54 demo, while Fox News was No. 1 in viewers. In fact, CNN was the No. 1 network in all of cable prime time ahead of Fox Sports 1, TBS and Discovery. And in a rare occurrence, MSNBC topped Fox News in the demo in both prime time (8 p.m. – 11 p.m.) and extended coverage (7 p.m. – 2 a.m.) MSNBC finished No. 2 in total viewers from 10 – 1 a.m. ET.

The most-watched hour across all of cable TV last night was CNN’s 10 p.m. ET hour when Clinton gave her speech.
