CNN will host the Green Party ticket, presidential nominee Jill Stein and running mate Ajamu Baraka, for a one-hour live town hall to air Wednesday, Aug. 17 at 9 p.m. ET from New York.
A moderator has yet to be announced. The town hall will air on CNN, CNN International and CNN en Español.
The announcement was made tonight at the end of CNN’s second Libertarian Party town hall, moderated by Anderson Cooper, with former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson and former Massachusetts Gov. William Weld.
The latest CNN/ORC poll has Stein at 5 percent nationally.
UPDATE: CNN has moved the town hall to 10 p.m. ET.
