CNN, Tea Party Express Team Up For GOP Debate

Another 2012 GOP debate has been announced. This time CNN is joining forces with Tea Party Express for a primary debate to be held in early September, 2011. The debate will be held in Tampa, site of the 2012 Republican National Convention.

“The Tea Party Express is a fascinating, diverse, grassroots force that already has drastically changed the country’s political landscape,” said Sam Feist, CNN political director and VP of CNN DC.

“The debate will give presidential candidates an opportunity to focus on the issues near and dear to the Tea Party and our supporters across the country.” said Amy Kremer, chairman of the Tea Party Express.
