CNN Newsource Names Scott McLean National Correspondent

CNN Newsource has named Scott McLean a national correspondent based in Washington, D.C. McLean comes to CNN from CTV News in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where he was a reporter and anchor.

“Scott is an excellent storyteller, with a diverse range of reporting and anchoring,” said CNN affiliate services vp Paul Crum. “His communications skill set across multiple platforms will benefit CNN Newsource and its offerings for its more than 800 affiliates.”

McLean earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Production from York University in Toronto. He is conversant in French and Arabic.
