Judy Lewin-Scott, a make-up artist in CNN’s Los Angeles bureau, died Saturday. The young mother died of a massive heart attack, according to a Go Fund Me page set up for her young son.
“If you knew Judy, she was opinionated yet open-minded, strong yet soft, fiesty yet forgiving, a loud laugher yet quiet listener,” the page’s author writes. “She welcomed every person into her life with a smile. She made everyone feel beautiful on the inside and the outside.”
The campaign, which will help her son Asher, is already half-way to its $50,000 goal. Among those giving, CNN correspondent Kyung Lah, NBC News legal analyst Lisa Bloom, and Susan Sailer Pinsky, wife of HLN host Dr. Drew Pinsky.
