While many Americans might be focused on their own upcoming election, there just so happens to be a big one taking place across the pond this week.
CNN International will air special programming devoted to the U.K. election today at 10 p.m. GMT (5 p.m. EST), providing viewers with the latest polls, updates, results and reactions.
Richard Quest, Bianca Nobilo and Hala Gorani will lead the network’s special coverage from CNN’s London studio with Julia Chatterley covering the political angles and business reaction live from College Green.
Anna Stewart will track all 650 constituency races from CNN’s headquarters using an interactive 3D visualization, giving viewers a dynamic display of real-time data for each race. Joining her in studio will be Stephen Collinson, who will provide insight and analysis of the key races and voting trends as the night unfolds.
Nic Robertson will be at Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s campaign headquarters in Uxbridge while Phil Black will be in Islington with Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour Party. Scott McLean will report throughout the night from Edinburgh.
As results come in overnight, Christiane Amanpour, Isa Soares and Cyril Vanier will continue anchoring CNN’s special coverage from College Green, with Max Foster reporting live from Downing Street.
Nina Dos Santos and Matthew Chance will gauge reaction from voters across the UK and Melissa Bell will be in Brussels monitoring the UK’s future relationship with the European Union.
As part of its UK Election 2019 special coverage, CNN Digital will provide real-time results on the CNN.com homepage as well as a live blog giving users access to the news, analysis and reaction to election night results.
CNNI isn’t the only TV news outlet delivering live coverage of the election. Bloomberg Television will kick off election coverage tonight at 10:00 p.m. GMT with a 2-hour special anchored by Bloomberg’s Anna Edwards, Guy Johnson and Jonathan Ferro.
Brexit & Beyond: U.K. Decides will bring viewers instant insight and analysis right after the polls close. Election coverage will continue throughout the night featuring market strategists, policymakers, and business leaders as guests.
On Friday, Bloomberg Television will air the live election special Brexit & Beyond: U.K. Decides from 4-6 a.m. GMT. The 2-hour program, anchored by Bloomberg’s Anna Edwards and Tracy Alloway, will provide viewers with continuous updates and analysis on the election results. Coverage throughout the day will also include live reporting from Westminster by various anchors including, Francine Lacqua, Tom Keene and Jonathan Ferro. Bloomberg’s David Merritt will also be reporting from Westminster with Nejra Cehic and Guy Johnson anchoring live from Downing Street.
Bloomberg Radio will simulcast Brexit & Beyond: U.K. Decides tonight at 10 p.m. GMT, across all stations. On Friday, coverage will begin at 6 a.m. GMT with Roger Hearing and Caroline Hepker anchoring Daybreak Europe live from Westminster. Bloomberg Surveillance will be anchored live out of London by Tom Keene and Jonathan Ferro.
