CNN First With Boy Scout News

By Brian

CNN was the first to report that 11-year-old boy scout Brennan Hawkins had been found alive. CNN correspondent Ted Rowlands was live on the scene in Summit County, Utah. CNN was also the first to air video from an EMT who said the boy would “be just fine.” CNN reported the news at 2:52pm. Update: 4:55pm: FNC was in a commercial but led with the news at 2:53pm, according to the network. MSNBC followed at 2:56pm. The boy was found by two volunteers who want to stay anonymous (to avoid the media glare perhaps?).
