By Chris Ariens

If you happen to flip on HBO tonight you might think you’re watching CNBC. “Too Big to Fail” the film that’s an adaptation of Andrew Ross Sorkin‘s best-seller about the 2008 financial crisis features CNBC throughout. NYT’s Brian Stelter writes:

CNBC anchors and reporters reread, and in some cases, reshot some of their reports. Erin Burnett, then a CNBC anchor, said she had “something like five outfits” for the reshoots and was “done in less than half an hour.”

We talked with Sorkin during the filming of “Too Big to Fail” about the process of turning a book into a film.
