CNBC Boots Guest For Not Being ‘Polite’

By Chris Ariens

This Goldman Sachs suit has guests and hosts on the business channels exacerbated today.

A short time ago on CNBC’s “Street Signs” Erin Burnett brought on a guest, financial consultant Sylvain Raynes, who called Jim Cramer and others who’ve been talking about the suit today, “public relations officials for Goldman.”

Then, after Raynes accused Cramer of taking money from Goldman Sachs, it got really interesting.

Raynes: We don’t have time to go into detail. I’ll keep it shallow in deference to Mr. Cramer.

Burnett: Hey, hey, hey, hey. I asked you to please not make it personal.

Cramer: What is this nonsense? Don’t give me this ad hominem nonsense. I wasn’t knocking you.

….

Burnett: All right. We’re going to take a brief break. We’ll be back in just a second. Sylvain will not be with us. Sylvain, you’ve got more more polite than that. Back in a moment.
