Charlie Rose Accuser: He’s ‘Brilliant and Kind’ but ‘Also a Predator’

Kyle Godfrey Ryan worked for Charlie Rose on his PBS show for about a year and a half. She said the beginning “was beautiful and exciting” but Rose’s behavior soon turned to “beratement and groping.”

Godfrey Ryan is one of more than two dozen Rose accusers who spoke to The Washington Post for its 5-month investigation into harassment allegations over Rose’s 40-year career. Rose called the story “unfair and inaccurate.”

On CNN’s Reliable Sources Sunday, Godfrey Ryan said Rose’s behavior toward women at the PBS show, “was a secret that was wide open.” She said the experience turned her off journalism altogether. WATCH:
