Charlie, Please Don’t Even Joke About Getting Hit By A Truck

By Brian

It’s time for another Q&A with Charlie Gibson, this time from Newsweek. Brian Bralker asked if the new WNT anchor will “get out from behind the desk” to do any traveling.

“Not to the extent that they were talking about with Elizabeth and Bob,” Gibson said. “We haven’t had those kinds of discussions in meetings yet. It’s somewhat more limited by the fact that I am just one person, but I am more traditional in my approach. I’m an old codger. If I can do anything, it’s just to stabilize the broadcast and calm everybody down. Presuming I don’t get hit by a truck tomorrow, we’re sort of steady-as-she-goes.
