Champion To GMA: “He Envisions Going On The Road For Major Weather Events”

It sounds like Sam Champion may want to expand the weather anchor’s role on Good Morning America. He tells the NY Daily News: “You’re going to get your morning weather, a lot of it, from your local guy. I want you to know what the headlines are for the nation. I want you to know regionally what’s going on. I think people are more involved in weather, even in places where they don’t live.”

Richard Huff adds: “He envisions going on the road for major weather events — think hurricanes, blizzards and the like…”
