‘CBS This Morning’ Boss: ‘What Are You Doing to Me?’

“CBS This Morning” executive producer Chris Licht has a lot on his plate each morning, including personally stepping in to avert potentially distracting neckwear.

When anchor Gayle King arrived for the morning show wearing what she described on Instagram as “a beautiful group of statement necklaces,” Licht was not onboard:

This is what I wanted to wear on @cbsthismorning a beautiful group of statement necklaces before big cheese boss @chrislicht weighed in and asked "what are you doing to me ? " what does he mean ?

Within moments, “big cheese” Licht dispatched a De-Accessorizing Team to reduce the “statement necklaces” down to just one small statement:
