The CBS News Washington bureau softball team is headed to the Metropolitan Media League playoffs next weekend. The Eyeballs finished the regular season last weekend with 11 wins and 3 losses. They clinched their division and are tied for the best record in the league. Led by Coach Kenny Crump and Assistant Kia Baskerville, the team has done away with ABC, CNN, USA Today and Comcast Sports Net.
This is the team’s third playoff appearance since joining the MML in 1999.
