Just as last week, Neil Cavuto’s two-hour FNC morning special on Saturday, this time dubbed “The Rescue Rumble,” performed well last weekend.

The 10amET-NoonET special drew a 2,047,000 Total Viewer average, which made it the 2nd most watched program of the weekend (behind FNC at 6pmET on Saturday). The 10-11amET hour was the highest rated of the weekend.

The program also improved over the Saturday before. It grew nearly 400,000 in Total Viewers and 150,000 in the A25-54 demo (531,000 this week).

Besides the financial crisis coverage, Cavuto also reported the breaking news of Paul Newman’s death.

> Update: Mike Huckabee’s FNC pilot, “Huckabee” premiered on Saturday night at 8pmET to 2,019,000 Total Viewers. It won the time slot in Total Viewers, but lost to Roland Martin’s CNN special in the demo. There is no word yet whether “Huckabee” will continue in the future.
