Carson Daly returned to the Today show this morning following the death of his mom, Patti who died Sept. 17 of a heart attacks. “Nobody likes that phone to ring in the middle of the night to get that call,” said Daly. “I have great faith. Great Family. Incredible friends. You guys have been unbelievable.”
On Instagram, Daly shared a note his mom had written to him and his sister. “It was written in the thick of her breast cancer battle. She clearly thought she might not make it. We never knew. This was 1998.”
