By Alex Weprin

The week of April 4-10 was a fairly uneventful one, save for some end-of-week drama about a possible government shutdown.

For the cable news channels, it meant no real changes on the weekly ranking of most-viewed cable networks.

Fox News Channel placed fourth overall in primetime with 1.947M total viewers, behind only USA (WWE Raw), ESPN (The women’s NCAA Championship) and History (new episodes of “Pawn Stars”). In total day FNC placed fifth overall with 1.153M total viewers, behind Nickelodeon, Nick at Nite, Adult Swim and USA.
