Fox News was the top cable news network for the first quarter of 2014, averaging 1,804,000 viewers in primetime and 1,099,000 viewers in total day. Fox News placed fifth in primetime and fourth in total day among all ad-supported cable networks for the quarter.

MSNBC placed 27th in primetime and 28th in total day for the quarter, averaging 683,000 primetime viewers and 394,000 total day viewers. CNN placed 35th in primetime and 30th in total day, delivering 498,000 and 393,000 viewers, respectively.

USA Network, ESPN, TBS and the History Channel rounded out the top five networks in primetime for the quarter. The full ranker is after the jump.
