Bush In Baghdad: ABC First On Broadcast

By Brian

ABC beat out CBS and NBC with a special report about President Bush’s trip to Iraq. Charles Gibson anchored from GMA’s Times Square studio in New York. NBC followed about a minute later with Campbell Brown reporting from the Today Show desk. CBS didn’t break into regular programming for the news.

Just after 9:30am, Gibson anchored another special report as the first video of Bush’s trip became available.
