Bush and Greta — From Abu Dhabi

Greta Van Susteren has returned from her Middle East trip, and tonight, President George W. Bush goes On The Record. Van Susteren’s interview with President Bush airs at 10pmET on FNC.

Van Susteren spoke with Bush at the tail end of his sweeping visit to various Middle Eastern countries. The interview took place in Abu Dhabi at the Emirates Palace Hotel. The majority of the press attention right now may be aimed at the current race, but Van Susteren explained the importance of Bush’s visit.

“While everyone’s got attention tonight on who’s going to be the next president in a year and five days, there is not a lot of attention on what our current president is doing,” she said last night during the FNC primary coverage. “He’s at a historic trip — his first trip to Israel as President, and what he is hoping to do is provoke a settlement between the Israelis and the Palestinians.”
