Marc Burstein, executive producer of special events at ABC News, will fill in as temporary EP of the weekend edition of Good Morning America while John Green is on suspension, TVNewser has learned.
Burstein will continue to oversee special events for the news divison. An insider stressed the temporary nature of this assignment. “The main focus of everyone at weekend GMA is just to continue putting a high-quality program on the air,” the insider said.
