For the second time in less than a week, Warren Buffett called in to CNBC’s Squawk Box. This time his call moved the markets. Buffett broke the news that his company had offered to assume the liabilities of bond insurers. That news helped the U.S. dollar rise in early trading. A half hour into the trading day, the equities markets are also up on the news.
