America’s Newsroom anchors Megyn Kelly and Bill Hemmer took a fact-check of some recent campaign ads from Sens. John McCain and Barack Obama directly to spokesmen for each campaign. Kelly went first, and took it to Tucker Bounds of the McCain campaign (reminiscent of the RNC Campbell Brown interview that ended in a McCain CNN cancellation — although they eventually made up). Then it was Hemmer’s turn, who worked hard to get some answers from Bill Burton of Obama’s campaign. Maybe Bounds said it best when he was told Burton was up next: “I wish him luck.” (via Johnny Dollar):
