All the networks and cable news nets aired this morning’s presidential press conference. The morning hosts anchored for NBC and ABC, and Bob Schieffer anchored on CBS. Bill Hemmer handled the special report for Fox broadcast.
NBC and CBS immediately returned to regular programming. ABC debriefed with Jake Tapper in the Rose Garden and Miguel Marquez in Baghdad.
Fox News quickly questioned the critical nature of the journalists at the press conference. Responding to a comment by Jon Scott, Fred Barnes said: ” made a list of the negative questions that were asked.” Also: “The media is basically obsessed with the idea that troops need to be withdrawn, so there are always questions about that.”
