The headline on Media Matters says it all: BillO’Reilly threatened radio show caller with ‘a little visit’ from ‘Fox security’ for mentioning Olbermann’s name on the air.”

On the March 2nd edition of The Radio Factor, a caller started to say: “I like to listen to you during the day, I think Keith Olbermann‘s show” — and then O’Reilly dumped the call.

O’Reilly declared: “When you call us, ladies and gentleman, just so you know, we do have your phone number, and if you say anything untoward, obscene, or anything like that, Fox security then will contact your local authorities, and you will be held accountable. Fair?” (Here are several stories about callers who have received phone calls from Fox security.)

On Friday night, the latest twist in the O&O feud was Countdown’s #3 story. “Bill thinks he has his own police,” Olbermann said. He played the radio show clip, then pointed out the “giddying aspect of seeing the host’s trolley come completely off the tracks merely when my name gets mentioned.” Crooks & Liars has the video…

> Also: This person who was called by Fox security asked why “security at Fox News was handling an issue that happened over at Westwood One, the radio factor’s syndicator. He didn’t have much of an answer, accept to say that Bill & he work for the same company. Honestly, he really didn’t sound like he wanted to be doing this at all.
