No, BBC reporter Dan Walker wants to assure you, the man and woman behind him during a live report from the Rio Olympics was not, in fact, having sex on the beach.
“Just for clarification,” he said on Twitter, “they were reading a book!!! That couple were definitely reading a book.”
Well, that’s not how it played back home in the U.K., where viewers had their money on beach “shagging” as they say.
There appears to be a couple potentially shagging on Copacabana beach behind Dan Walker’s head.

The social media reaction was so swift, Walker addressed it on air, saying “we’re not going to zoom in, but rest assured it’s not ‘that’, it’s just a hug … they’re reading a book … they are reading a book in a strange pose.”
“It’s merely a book. We’ll find out what the book is … maybe.. a little bit later on.”
