Fox News was the most-watched basic cable network across the 24-hour day for the week of Nov. 26.

Per live-same-day data from Nielsen, FNC averaged 1.3 million total viewers. But that’s -13 percent vs. what it drew during the comparable week in 2017.

For the second consecutive week, Fox News finished No. 3 in prime time behind ESPN -which continues to put up big audiences during NFL and college football season- and behind Hallmark Channel, whose original holiday movies continue to draw millions of Americans each night.

The network was -16 percent in total prime time audience from last year.

FNC claimed 12 of the 30-most-watched telecasts overall, including presentations of Hannity, Tucker Carlson Tonight, The Ingraham Angle and The Five.

Additionally, Fox News out performed CNN and MSNBC in both prime time and total day in both categories among total viewers, as well as in the prime time demo. FNC averaged 330,286 A25-54 viewers, MSNBC 325,286 and CNN with 294,714 adults 25-54 last week.

Speaking of MSNBC, NBC’s politics-focused cable newser was -1 percent in prime time viewers vs. the same week last year, but was actually +1 percent in total day viewers.

The network earned top 5 finishes in total viewers across all of basic cable, and was home to the No. 1 cable news show of the week across the board: The Rachel Maddow Show.

CNN slipped just out of the top 10 in total prime time audience, though the network actually posted +4 percent prime time audience growth from the same week last year. Ironically, while CNN earned a top 10 finish in total day viewers (No. 6), the network was actually down year-over-year in total day audience (-5 percent).
